i'm telling you, we've got a big storm system off the east coast that's going to cause major problems along the eastern seaboard today. low pressure getting itself together. you can see it already making it's way up the coast. it's not technically a nor'easter or a tropical system but it's going to be a slow mover. today into tomorrow, into friday, this easterly fetch coming into the shoreline. areas that have already been damaged by hurricane sandy. it's going to be a big problem. we have already got coastal flood advisories, gale warnings all the way up into central new jersey. beach erosion, waves up to 12 feet in the outer banks and look at the rainfall. we're talking anywhere from 2 to 3 inches of rain today into tonight. by tomorrow afternoon, it makes it's way up into the tri-state area and continues friday into new england. so it's going to be a slow mover >> good morning.mpact into thist

help underserved women navigate the diagnosis. >> we met up with her in new jersey. >> i'm a ten year breast cancer survivor. i was born in columbia and moved to the states when i was seven years old. married and i have two grown daughters. i was diagnosed with breast cancer ten years ago and it really caught my by surprise. i started with my annual mammograms at the age of 37 based on the recommendation by my gynecologist. the first time my baseline was clear and when i was due for hi second annual, my husband pushed me and i was diagnosed. i was overwhelmed. although i spoke the language and have medical insurance it was very difficult kurfor me. i always thought what do women do when they don't speak the language or have medical

insurance? that why i established healing together. our mission is to help medically underserved women when it comes to breast cancer. we're healing together because we take women in the community that do not have insurance, that need a free mammogram, we take them into the hospitals that provide those programs for free. i don't have an office. my office is really the hospital setting or coffee shops in the community. and if they don't speak english, what i do is i accompany them to the doctors appointments and i prepare them for that visit. i tell them the questions in spanish, let they know what your fears are and symptoms are and what you want to know about the

puppy love this morning. back with another installment of ask the vet. today the puppy edition. >> good morning to you both. >> good morning. >> we have three very important topics. no one will be looking at us. we could be standing here nude with these puppies, right? >> these are all shelter dogs. >> all available from mainline animal rescue but three very crucial topics, vaccinations which all puppies need and then we have what a pooch should avoid, very dangerous things to eat and how to give our pooch a pill. >> the first one, vaccines. how soon do you get your puppy vaccinated? >> starting about 6 to 8 weeks you'll have your first visit with your veterinarian and go back every three to four weeks for a booster, okay? normally they do very well with them and don't have any side effects. they might be a little quite. a little tender. >> yeah.
